Education Across the Hills: Ground Realities in Meghalaya
In the remote hills and scattered valleys of Meghalaya, education begins long before a child enters a classroom. It begins on narrow footpaths carved into mountainsides, across streams without bridges, and through forests wrapped in mist.

Like many young people here, 22-year-old Banshai helps his family in the fields. He works hard, but for years his work led only to the same result: just enough to survive, never enough to move forward.
